I had a great experience with Conor Buie at Vancouver Family Law. He and his team, especially Alejandra, were always prompt and professional. They were quick to respond to any email or phone outreach. Mr. Buie helped me through a challenging two years, and I will always be grateful for his support and expertise.

Did a prenup with Conor Buie. Paid a flat fee and he handled it flawlessly. Explained things in laymen terms whenever I asked and I asked many times. When there were some wrinkles thrown in, he did the research to understand and explain what the wrinkles were. Highly recommend.

I had a terrible experience with this firm. My attorney Alyssa Lax and her assistant Tanner did not have my best interest in mind at all. She took eight weeks to file my divorce petition. I asked 2 questions during the process, both were completely ignored. During this time I was asked to fill out one document which I had back to them the next morning. I was only sent that document because I reached out to inquire why it was taking so long around week 4. Around week 8 I inquired again, this time a little more firmly and they were somehow able to finish it that afternoon. My petition was not complicated. Alyssa basically copied what I had given to her from a previous failed mediation. I was truly disappointed that it took so long for her action. When the opposing party responded Alyssa sent me the document with no explanation of what happens next in the process and no interpretation of the legalese within the document. All I got was an email with an attached document. Alyssa added stress to an already stressful situation and absolutely no value to my case. I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

These guys did a stellar job for me. The simple fact is nobody hires a lawyer because things are going well...and I know I wasn't always the easiest customer...but they consistently went above and beyond throughout the process to make the hard things easier. I can't recommend them enough, although I hope I never need to hire them again 😉
