Divorce by its very nature is a very unpleasant experience. Kate was exceptionally helpful in navigating the minefield. She was extremely diplomatic when that was what was called for, but also pushed back appropriately and effectively when needed. She provided me with excellent legal counsel, gave me a little "tough love" when that was called for, and was compassionate and understanding throughout the entire process. I always felt she had my best interests in mind and did everything in her powers to keep the process moving forward and avoid unnecessary delays (and expense).
