I am a naturally skeptical person, and on top of that, I'm pretty frugal; so I hesitated having to put down a retainer. Mr. Borsky gave me an initial phone and office consultation at no cost, and even offered alternatives to the normal retained services contract, explaining that there were less expensive ways to proceed, although they could not be guaranteed to be less expensive when all was said and done. I opted to go without retaining his office, paying for advice along the way. Some time later, realizing that I was in over my head. I did retain his office services...and I was so glad that I did. Robert was always upfront, honest and completely clear as to how things proceeded. His legal assistant, Maria, promptly answered all my inquires, and handled details exquisitely. I couldn't have asked for a better experience throughout the otherwise difficult time of my divorce, and Robert secured for me settlement terms that were fair, reasonable, and satisfactory; might I also add that all legal fees and costs remained within the estimated parameters.
