Several years ago, I’ve had the pleasure to retain Stephen Coffey through O’Connel and Aronowitz law firm. This law firm has great client service and a strong reputation. I was able to comfortably communicate the needs I had at the moment and was provided service immediately. Stephen was professional and honest. He was flexible with his schedule, being easy to meet up with as well as contact over the phone. It was evident how knowledgeable and skilled Stephen was. I was experiencing a difficult and complex situation, but he assisted me with keeping composure and staying level headed. Although there were times I had doubt about what would occur, the work that Stephen had done behind the scenes prevailed. Stephen was reassuring and had my best interest. I am grateful and appreciative with the service I was provided. I would highly recommend Stephen Coffey as an attorney to anyone I know in need of one.
Graig Zappia and James Wighaus are tremendous. They’ve helped me on numerous takes and always peroxide great feedback and steer me in the right direction. Can’t go wrong with OA.
Several years ago, I retained Michael McDermott to represent me in a very difficult and challenging matter and I’m so very glad that I did. In addition to being knowledgeable, highly skilled and eminently professional, Mike is calm, thoughtful and measured. Due to the complex nature of and risks attendant to my circumstances, I found Mike to be two parts legal advisor and one-part personal therapist; he filled both roles expertly and with aplomb. Mike’s considerable efforts resulted in a favorable outcome of my case; indeed, a result far exceeding my expectations at the outset. In the years since I’ve had several occasions to seek additional assistance from Mike and, without exception, he has been characteristically responsive and diligent. I remain profoundly grateful to Mike, and I highly recommend him and O'Connell and Aronowitz.
My husband and I found ourselves in a heartbreaking situation I never imagined we’d face. I was emotionally overwhelmed and felt like my world was falling apart. In the midst of it all, I reached out to Kelly. From our very first conversation, she listened with compassion and explained everything we needed to know about pursuing visitation rights for our granddaughter. Kelly gave me hope during a time when I had very little. Even when agreements fell through and it felt like we were starting over, she never gave up on us. She stood by our side, reassuring us that things would work out—and in the end, they did. Her paralegal, Tanya, was just as incredible. She was always there to listen and offer support whenever I needed it. I truly don’t have the words to express how grateful I am for both of them. Kelly and Tanya were a light during one of the darkest times in our lives. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated legal support.
Attorney Stephen Coffey represented me for a NYSCVA case and did an extraordinary job. While it was an stressful undertaking and risk, I trusted him and his team. He led with expertise, respect and no-nonsense. He helped me be clear about expectations, invested in investigation and the complexities of my case, and also compassionate about the sensitive nature the subject at hand. When he noticed I was shy or feeling sensitive he'd give me a break or bring in a female attorney to make me feel more comfortable. I highly recommend this firm, by the end I felt like I was part of the O&A family.
This law firm was great during my consultation with them. They were also great at reviewing my case and assessing my legal needs. They did a great job.
I retained Flo Richardson to represent me during a very painful separation. She treated me with great empathy and kept me on track when my emotions were getting the better of me. She vigorously defended my best interests when I felt incapable of doing so. Choosing an attorney can seem a daunting process. I feel completely confident recommending Flo to anyone who finds themself in this position.
