This is the worst law firm I’ve ever encountered. Stay far away from them—they only care about money. We sent them plenty of supporting documentation for our case, but they never followed up or explained how it could help, though they had no problem sending a bill. Don’t be fooled by their impressive-sounding plan during the initial consultation; it’s all talk. Mr. Nelson never spoke up in court, essentially letting the judge decide everything without objection, and he agreed to whatever was suggested. Despite giving him solid evidence, he never presented it in court. If you want to be a good lawyer, stand up for your clients. If I could give this firm negative stars, I would. I’ve never seen such incompetent lawyers. We spent thousands on legal fees, and he did nothing. Charging $350 an hour is outrageous when delivering such mediocre work—it’s insane.

I cannot recommend this firm highly enough! Mr. Cox and Mr. Smith will always be so special to our family. They walked with us through a very hard custody case, and the outcome they got for us was truly a miracle. They were kind and consistent through every up and down that comes with a DCFS case. The staff was always helpful. Our emails and questions (of which there were many), were answered quickly and thoroughly. Our bills always had a detailed description of what was being billed. They were honest, they were hard working, and they got the job done when it seemed impossible! You won’t find a better team than them!

I cannot say enough about my attorney with this law firm. Stephen Cox was not ever anything but professional and very knowledgeable with our intrafamily adoption. Although, we ended up having to go to trial, he handled it so smoothly. He and his team kept up to date on everything and followed through with making sure all documents where received. IF I ever need legal services again we will definitely be using this law firm. Thank you again to the amazing team at this law firm!

The Law Office of Ryan Gatti is top notch. The attorney their office set me up with, Stephen Cox, is a gentleman, easy to talk to, charismatic, sharp, and a dedicated professional. Recently I had a series of unfortunate events resulting in me seeking legal counsel. I didn't have a clue where to even begin so I started by contacting a few law firms and defense attorneys, hoping to get a feel for which one seemed best Gatti's office called me back quickly The receptionist was so kind and helpful and set me up an appointment with Stephen Cox. During my initial meeting with Mr. Cox to discuss my 2 cases with him, it quickly became clear this was the man I wanted to represent and defend me. He is so well put together, brilliantly sharp, colossal legal acumen, organized, easy to talk to, all that and his presence exudes an infectious confidence. He quickly settled my nerves and put me at ease. He asked great questions and presented me with various strategies and pursuable legal options which he could use to form my legal defense. I felt a wave of relief, and without a shred of doubt, I knew this was the right man for the job. Within a couple hours of me speaking to him he called me and felt confident one of the cases against me should and would be dropped, and he made sure that was exactly what happened. He was able to take 2 cases against me and get them all down to one single misdemeanor charge resulting in a fine. I learned several lessons this last few months, one of them is if you're charged with something serious, you need an attorney, and not all attorneys are equal. Stephen Cox is in my humble opinion, in a league of his own. I am so happy with the Law Offices of Ryan Gatti, and I have nothing but respect, admiration, and love for these people. I was so nervous at what I was facing legally, not only because I was truly innocent, but also because it was my namesake and reputation on the line. Mr.Cox didn't let the allegations define me or sabotage my future. He was relentless and indefatigable in his construction of my defense. He really was amazing. Now I don't have anything hanging over my head and life is great! I seriously can't recommended these guys enough.
