I'd give zero stars for Mike McCormick and his so-called assistant, Dawn. Absolutely worthless. Over a YEAR later and I STILL don't have a last will and testament. A YEAR. And now they have just ghosted me. Worthless. 1/16/26 update - Finally, finally heard back from the assistant, Dawn. She now tells me that the "new" version of my will needs to be not only notarized but also signed by 3 witnesses and this needs to be done on a weekday before 4pm. I'm an RN and can't get off work before 5pm. So I asked for my original will to be sent back to me. It is the only copy I had. She's holding it hostage now. Who are these people?!

Mr. Mike McCormick was very helpful and flexible when it came to the closing of a property. However, as soon as closing was complete and he received his check, he ghosted me and will no longer respond to calls, texts, or emails. If you were promised any type of document or guidance, I suggest you obtain it prior to payment when it comes to real estate purchases. If you encounter any new issues after closing, he will not address those concerns either.

Another unhappy "client" here. I was in an accident at the end of January and spoke with Martinkus. He seemed to care about my case and assured me that he would help me. Fast forward to SEPTEMBER and I still have no information. I have never had any kind of legal dealings, so I was unsure what to expect with time frames. I have had to email or call multiple times for anyone to even get back to me. Should have been a quick case...I was hit by a drunk driver with insurance. This has just been an absolute nightmare. I wish I would have spoken to another law firm, but I feel it is too late at this point. 😞

Negative Stars for this firm. Martinkus? Their services are as butchered as Ann’s last name. I’ll leave this here for the moment. Details coming soon. Update 3/25: Wow.. I’m surprised this firm is still practicing. Anne Martinkus is a sorry excuse for a guardian ad litem. I presented a comprehensive binder filled with evidence demonstrating that my children were being alienated from me by the other parent, yet she dismissed every single page. Upon our first meeting, she didn't even have the professionalism to introduce herself. It felt as though she had already taken a side simply because I am the father. Additionally, she advised against confiscating my children’s cell phone—which I own and pay for—despite its irresponsible use. Well done, Martinkus, well done👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Guess what? My case was ruled in my favor with the other parent alienating my children from me with no help from Martinky.

I called to set up an appointment and consultation several times. I Was informed by Jim Martinkus assistant that someone would be contacting me soon, but not body contact me. Last time I spoke with his asistance I told her about not receiving a call back from his office and her response was "OK". 4 months later no call back. I gave 1 star because 0 is not an option

We sent a check for over $20000 to to the office of Attorney James Martinkus. After the check was cashed we were told that they could not provide the services that we had requested. I will be contacting the ARDC. I wish I had read the other Google reviews before I dealt with their office.

Barbara Weber is unethical. She does not do the work she is paid for. She does not file papers. She does not work for her client.. She is a very bad attorney. To top it off she emailed other clients information to my daughter. Which I think is illegal.
