Attorney Mark Stallings DOES NOT PLAY with protecting and defending his clients!!! He gets the job OVERLY done! I had 2 consults with him just asking for legal advice at first. Took his advice and started my process. Once the company kept fighting back(although they were in the wrong) I got discouraged and detained him as my lawyer. He showed up, educated me, and kept me informed EVERY step of the way! Mr. Stallings and his staff are so polite and assuring! I’d choose this law firm WITH ANYTHING! Mr. Stallings, THANK YOU for helping me and my 2 kids get out of that ridiculous situation and be able to have a fresh start! I will forever be grateful! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I was a first time Landlord beginning in March of 2014. I executed a lease agreement and did Property Management oversight for a tenant that moved into my home at that time. While the tenant was excellent at making payments on time and in full, what I failed to realize was that she was slowly destroying my home. As a first time landlord and property manager I did not necessarily document as well as I should have on the initial walk thru during move in or move out. What I walked into at my home in Hampton at the termination of the tenants lease in August of 2015 was beyond deplorable conditions. My carpets were saturated and stained beyond cleaning or repair. My appliances were broken and/or damaged beyond repair. The general interior and exterior up keep of my home was not considered to be fit and habitable. My kitchen countertops were melted, my window treatments were all broken, and the SMELL in the house was repulsive. As a matter of fact I was left to deal with a nice German Cockroach INFESTATION which caused me to have to replace flooring, backsplash and door jams. My home was destroyed and left me very heartbroken and with a feeling of being violated. I knew I had to do something. In the midst of itemizing damages I received a judgment in the mail from the tenant. The tenant was suing ME for failure to return her security deposit. I consulted initially with a well-known law firm in the City of Hampton. I had a horrible experience. I was told by that firm that I needed to visit the General District Courthouse to file my own countersuit once I retained counsel. Needless to say that I did not choose to retain counsel with that firm considering I would be paying to do all of my own work. I did my research and found Andrew Behrns of Hunter Law Firm. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Night and day!! My experience with the Hunter Law Firm was positive from the first moment I consulted with Andrew Behrns. Andrew was attentive, thorough, and helpful throughout a very difficult situation. He was with me every step of the way with insight and compassion, always responding quickly and effectively with any questions or issues as they arose.
