I went to this tax business expecting transparency. They assured me multiple times—at least three or four—that my tax filing would cost a flat $169, no matter how many rideshare schedules I had. I was confident in that price, as I confirmed it repeatedly. But once the job was done—and my return looked good—they suddenly charged me $596. This wasn’t what we agreed, and I feel blindsided by the drastic difference.
