The Legal Aid Society - Elyria Office

The people were nice enough. They forgot I had an appointment. They forgot to leave the door unlocked downstairs so I could get into my appointment. I got lucky and some other person walked out. I got a little confused trying to find it. But it’s on the third floor of what used to be a bank which is directly next to Applebee’s in Elyria mall area

Can u give them less points? Got put thru a series of questions. Main issue was talked about first . . . Only to be told at the end that I couldn't get help because of staff shortage

I am developmentally disabled and being discriminated against and evicted by my landlord. I have called several times about this and each time they said they were unable to help me and to call the bar association and pay for a lawyer, but disability pay only gives you so much. After paying rent groceries and utilities there left for luxuries like a lawyer. They should change their name to the get your own lawyer society

Gave bad advice! Was no help ! Talked to much about other people's cases! Sent us out the door with contact #"s that didn't work !!!@

They never answer and it doesn't seem im ever getting a call back either, hung up on me multiple times when im about to hit 17 minutes, what a waste of time, still no help at all, don't waste your time calling

I have never got any help from them although they are helping others with the same problems. They have policies that result in discrimination to the public. In one case, they did more harm than good, all because of the discrimination in admissions.

Bad I called on time and they couldnt have the respect to tell me personally they had a machine tell me that they couldnt help at the moment to call back later I wouldnt recommend this place to nobody and will go on fb to show recording proof and show how my time was wasted waiting to get hunged up on
