I initiated contact with this immigration law firm via a 30-minute introductory call, during which I provided comprehensive details about my case to the front desk representative. The staff member assured me that the firm had experience handling similar matters and could assist, contingent upon a $100 consultation fee. A follow-up consultation was promptly scheduled for the next day with the principal immigration attorney. During our 20-minute discussion, I outlined my situation and was told I would receive a response within four days regarding the firm’s ability to support my case. Unfortunately, subsequent communication fell short of expectations. Despite multiple attempts to follow up via calls and texts over a 10-day period, I received no response. Only after I indicated my intent to pursue legal action did I receive an immediate callback, at which point I was informed that the firm would not be able to take my case. My consultation fee was refunded, but no explanation was provided for their decision. While I appreciate the prompt refund, the lack of communication and transparency was disappointing, especially given the time-sensitive nature of immigration matters. My request was straightforward: I sought assistance with a green card interview due to a prior misdemeanor charge. Timely and clear communication is critical in such cases, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet these standards.
