Over the past year, I've been represented by Jimerson Birr regarding a partnership litigation matter. Very unprofessional staff. Google recommended them so I submitted an information form and was called by Shelby for onboarding details. She went over the firm’s practice area and we concluded through the conversation that they would not be able to assist with my matter. A few days later I was emailed and called again by Shelby to be told the same thing, although this time in a very condescending tone, even though we had already determined they wouldn’t be able to assist with my case.

Think twice before hiring Jimerson Birr or attorney Jessica Mazariego. I retained the firm in 2025 for two contract disputes, paying $8,000 in retainers. After the initial consult there was almost no communication or deliverable work—only administrative billing and months of unanswered refund requests. I’ve filed for Florida Bar fee arbitration and disciplinary review. If you hire any law firm, protect yourself: get everything in writing, keep copies of all emails and invoices, and—where lawful—record meetings and calls. Documentation is your only real leverage if communication breaks down.

Working with Jimerson Birr and their team most specifically Jessica Mazariego and Hunter Faulkner has been an absolute privilege. When Samantha & Denise reached out to me to cater for their UF school alumni cocktail hour i knew it was going to be a great day! As a vendor "easy access" is definitely always welcomed & needed. Samantha assured me that i would be able to park & unload in the Docking area. I went through security & was able to have full use of the service elevator. Setting up was a breeze.
