I’m sorry to say, but this company doesn’t help BW it seems. A woman lawyer helps ng another woman doesn’t work out. If u have an appointment w/ them & u set aside time to talk they never call back. Initially, the 1st call comes through for them to introduce themselves after that it’s excuses on top of excuses as to why they didn’t or couldn’t call bk. If ur sooo busy why take on another client? Ohh, & don’t ck the lawyer on her tardiness or selective memory loss it’s straight denial or I’ve been meaning to call u. Tk God my issue wasn’t detrimental bc I would’ve been abandoned. It’s a Non- for Profit, However, they’re still getting paid by the government. I wish the government would reach out to its clients bc I’ll tell them they didn’t really help me or do anything for me. Plz, find another lawyer don’t waste your time here.

On October 7, 2025, I was present at 111 Centre St. as Ms. Mary McCune, Esq. of MLS won a favorable disposition in a matter that was wrongly decided in 2013. (Bad judgments erode The People’s trust in our courts and public institutions.) The client was my mom. I am beyond grateful and personally impacted by the lawyerly skill, dedication, and resilience shown by Ms. McCune. I am a Marine Corps veteran, a (small) Christian business owner, and a newly admitted attorney—unfamiliar with Ms. McCune’s legal practice area (and not licensed to practice when this case came before the court): this wrongly decided case was a hardship for my family. Thanks to Ms. McCune, we now have a measure of justice. I hope that our local and national government, wealthy donors, and even small donors continue to fund and support initiatives – like this one – that do good work and achieve results. I had a complex case and Manhattan Legal Services were able to fulfill my request and get me a two year lease with my son's name and a lower rent!

They never helped me with my fair hearing. The person who was supposed to help me Theresa Anderson was rude, unprofessional and with no compassion or empathy. Worst service I ever received in my life. A waste of time.

Mr Rasmussen, if the level of service you provide is the equivalent of > what NYC landlords can get away with then they win through and through and you are but a sham. the ten minutes of advice i got from Saxton- before he hung up on me would have made my LL really happy- just move. When i say i have no where to go- sure you do he tells me. More gaslighting just what I need. if this is your idea of advice and support - you've lost the plot. "Demand Justice" you say? This is an abomination. thanks. UPDATE: 7/22/25 just phoned again on the prompting of another agency referral and told "we don't have the funding for evictions" . would you please go on record and let everyone know to stop giving out these lists and adice and misinformation? please? they are getting funding for these "referrals"". but a "referral" to an agency that doesn't actually have the funding for that service being referred is a sustained illusion and waste of time. thanks again!!

Most useless group of "lawyers" you can put together. Long story short...didn't receive the full money I was legally owed because Matthew Latterner and his "team" were too lazy to follow up. Once the case had been settled I tried emailing, phone calling and texting to get updates on my payment. I must have reached out a combined amount of 30+ times, all of which were ignored.
