If I could give her no stars I would. Years ago she was appointed GAL for my child in a custody case. She was completely useless. My son's father was able to move out of state with my son after abusing him. The abuse continued (my son is now an adult) my son was terrified for his life so never disclosed the abuse again. And, Ultimately, his abusive father cut all contact off between myself and my son (who finally wrangled himself loose from his father at age 17). And I begged and pleaded her to not permit my son to move out of state to Las Vegas with father (of course father has $$$$) and she did NOTHING to advocate or protect my son. I would not recommend her at all.

She doesn't deserve even one star. I got nothing from this office since I signed the contract which has been a month. All the information I got was from the first free consultation. Lack of communication, frequent small errors, empty promises made me upset. Why would I pay for this kind of service? Would I want this person to represent me? No, I'm breaking up with her. I'll let you know how much she returns from my retainer.

She was supposed to protect me from my abusive ex, but she was as bad as he was. If I called with a simple question, she would not call back. Instead, she would write a long letter most of it off topic and charge me for the time she wasted. She ran through her retainer ($5000) fast. I told her that I could at most afford a few hundred more and that she needed to let me know how much the bill was on a regular basis. She ran up another $5000 dollars without warning. When I was devastated and couldn't figure out what to do, she took that opportunity to go to the judge and get taken off the case. I finally paid her off a little at a time. $10,000 and I'm still not divorced! Do not go near this gold digger. She is heartless.

Horrible experience, when I needed help the most. Over charged using new, inexperienced attorneys and calls them her associates. She ran through my 5k retainer and billed for another 10k even though the fee agreement said she will withdraw once initial retainer is exhausted. She missed an ex parte hearing and didn't even notify me. Took a year for me to get back what she lost in orders by ignoring. Check Yelp and other sites for reviews. File a bar complaint if she has done this to you. File small claims case if she took your money unfairly. She knows the law, but uses it to victimize those who need her help.

Money hungry. Way over priced. Gave a great first impression, even cried during the consultation. Went all downhill from there. Went to one hearing and cost my family near five grand. I would not recommend.

Denise made a HUGE mistake in my case that cost me time and money. She never admitted it or apologized for it. When I got a new attorney to replace her, she took her sweet time getting my files over to new council. She is unprofessional and a bad lawyer.

don't make the mistake of trusting this office by giving them a retainer. they will do the absolute minimum amount of work while bleeding that retainer dry as quickly as possible. good luck getting clear or timely communication from them. and each time they send you an email they will bill you for that.
