Don't waste of your time & money at this place. The only person who worked with me was an admin, who never acknowledged receipt of my documents. Could not access their shared platform to send paperwork and requested help about 5 plus times, to no avail. Got a case closure letter from attorney Shapiro, who stated she closed my case due to not providing them with any docs and other lies.. Place is a scam. Wish I could rate it zero stars!

Extremely rude and insensitive.

Needless to say, going through a divorce is a long and painful process. My ex was living in China with my two children, he wasn't willing to communicate with me at all, so I didn't even know how to proceed on getting a divorce from him. I hired Anna to be my divorce lawyer, she was very responsive, she walked me through every step of the way, most of all, she had my best interest in mind. My ex was keeping my two kids and their passports in China (hostage), I wasn't able to do much as I can't apply passports without the consent of their father. Anna plead to the Judge to grant me temporary full custody while the case is processing so I can apply for the passports on my own. My ex wasn't accepting any forms of communications including the documents we need to send to him, some documents also needed to be deliver by legal personnel, but China just deliver legal documents via regular postal service. Anna plead to the judge to grant leniency in delivery methods so we can proceed with the case smoothly. The divorce itself was long and painful, but Anna help me the best way she can to get me full custody of my Children back to the US, even though they were born and lived in China, and that was all I wanted. One thing I would recommend for anyone that is hiring a lawyer is to review carefully how they would charge you. They would charge on everything that is related to the case, as small as setting a reminder to themselves when to review the case or setting a reminder to call the client, or saving the files to the case folder. If I knew ahead of time, i would of negotiated a flat rate for all those admin tasks, as all those little reminders does add up on the bill.
