If you’re looking for an employment attorney who will actually listen & try to help you, keep scrolling, especially if you work for a public agency. This firm doesn’t have the time or interest. I reached out on behalf of myself & 2 former coworkers about serious issues with our former/current employer, a public agency. Their response? They won’t be calling back to get the details & aren’t interested in evaluating our cases. Impressive. Most attorneys at least pretend to gather facts before deciding a case isn’t worth their time. Here, they skip the whole "evaluation" part entirely. Efficiency, I guess. If business is so booming that they’re turning away multiple cases at a time without even hearing what they’re about, then congratulations to them, but it also means your case won’t be valued even if they do take it. I come from a family of attorneys & judges, & I was so shocked by their refusal to even hear the details of any of our 3 cases, based purely on my name & employer, that I asked around, & apparently disregard is just standard operating procedure for them unless you’re one of their VIP clients. There are plenty of attorneys who will actually listen, ask questions, & treat you like your situation matters. This firm isn’t one of them. They couldn’t even be bothered to pretend to evaluate our cases before turning them down, which is somehow even more discouraging than being rejected after an actual review. It sends the message that your situation is of so little significance to them that they won’t even accept documents to consider it. That’s all I asked for, that they allow us to email our materials & review the case accordingly. The impact of having an attorney refuse to even give you basic consideration is incredibly discouraging, which is why I’m posting this review to warn people. Save yourself the time & frustration.
