My case was represented as resolved months ago, but I have not received payment of my settlement and I have not been provided documentation showing where funds were disbursed or under what written authorization. I repeatedly requested my client file, settlement paperwork, and an accounting in order to understand what occurred. Those requests went unanswered for an extended period of time. Clients should be aware that clear communication, written authorizations, and timely access to their own case records are essential. My experience raised serious concerns for me, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this firm to insist on receiving everything in writing and to closely track settlement paperwork and disbursements.

**Review of California Employment Counsel (Raymond & Nick Hane)** ⭐☆☆☆☆ I’m extremely disappointed in my experience with California Employment Counsel, particularly Raymond and Nick Hane. My case was settled over two months ago, and to this day, I have not received my portion of the settlement. What’s worse, I later discovered they had been filing paperwork behind my back—without my knowledge or approval. I trusted this firm to represent me with integrity, but instead I felt left in the dark and misled. When I began asking questions about the status of my funds and the paperwork submitted on my behalf, I was met with silence, excuses, and confusion. It appeared that they were trying to take more than what was fair—something no client should ever have to worry about with their legal representation. I have since taken action to represent myself and have removed them from my case entirely.
