A little over a year I was in the thick of it with Steve. My husband reached out to him in despair of sexual assault involving me. We have never been through anything like this and I felt like I was in over my head. Within 24 hours of that call to Steve, he was sitting in my kitchen reassuring us that everything was going to be ok and we would get through this together.
