Monrae L. English

Ms. English is unskilled, unprofessional, and incompetent - her win/loss legal record speaks for itself as does the fact that no big law firm wants to hire her so she's in a dingy downtown low cost office location. I wish I had known how inept Ms. English was prior to hiring her on a contingency basis. I figured that since I wasn't paying any money for her services and since she talked a a good talk, it was a good deal. Unfortunately, Ms. English is all talk and minimal legal skills/knowledge. Over several months of managing my case, Ms. English apparently made several rookie mistakes. I only found out about her errors a long time later when subsequent lawyers reviewed the specifics of my case and asked me why my previous lawyer (ms. english) had let valuable deadlines lapse, had not informed me of the consequences of certain actions taken by opposing counsel, etc. Do yourself a favor and find a better lawyer than Ms. English - even a first year law student would be a better lawyer than she is.

Not a good experience. Lawyer lacks knowledge and also seems to lack integrity. Is the textbook definition of scatter-brained and over her head. Not exactly sure how she is still a practicing lawyer

horrible lawyer. makes guarantees that she doesnt follow up on or keep. easily scared away by opposing counsel. let the statute of limitations lapse. After mismanaging my case for over 2 years, she irreparably damaged my case due to her negligence and lack of diligence
