I wasn't to impressed with the way this firm handled my potential case, the week before last I followed the steps and submitted my timeline to the specialist. Then was happy to get a call from Liene fisher and we spoke about the potential case, and I was actually happy and feeling hopeful because she said she wanted to help. I thought it was weird that I had submit my timeline again and she didn't have my termination letter though I'd submitted it to intake. but whatevs she said she was going to discuss my case with her partners and see if she could help, no sweat. 4 days go by and I called her to see if she reviewed it, and the phone just stopped ringing so I sent her a quick update email and text about the stuff I sent her and went about my day. Called the next day and she said she hadn't gone ever my timeline yet which was surprising cus she stressed emailing it in a timely manner, she said shed look at it the following day, I called she texted me asking to call back. That's when my shop Stewart told me to just file with the city's human rights division, which I did. I feel like Liene Did want to help but should of just let me know that she was busy with other cases I could've used that week to find a lawyer who was available to help

I am disappointed with my experience with Fisher Taubenfeld. I was grateful to have my case represented and thought giving 40% of my winnings would be worth it because they were top notch, but in the end hopes and expectations were not met. I only spoke with Liane briefly to tell her about the case, and thought there would be opportunity to go more in depth, but the opportunity never came. After initial mediation I felt very unseen and unheard, emailed multiple times and never got a response. She told me she would no longer represent me if we went to trial. I felt like my settlement was not as high as it should have been, but it was my only option. She told me she would fight initially, but then after one meeting lost faith in our case and me. Once I signed the settlement agreement I never heard from her again.

I reached out to the firm unsure if I had a case. Both attorneys spent time asking questions and listening to my answers. They reviewed my documentation thoroughly and determined that I had a case and they would fight for me. I was kept informed as motions were filed, offers were made and a court date was set. I am very grateful to Liane Fisher for her patience with me in court and for working with the other side to get me a settlement without having to attend multiple court appearances.
