I recently worked with Block & Associates Law Firm during a civil lawsuit brought by a past employer. This was something I never expected to experience and had no prior familiarity navigating legal matters. I was understandably anxious and overwhelmed by the legal process. What stood out immediately was how professional and empathetic the Block team was. Bev, the firm’s owner, was involved and accessible, and my day-to-day work was primarily with my attorney, Julianne. I cannot express enough how impressed and pleased I am with Julianne. She was EXCEPTIONAL at explaining legal terminology, processes, and next steps in a way that was clear, practical, and never condescending. I always understood what was happening and why. Communication was another major strength. Calls and emails were returned quickly, and just as importantly, Julianne was proactive about reaching out to let me know what to expect next. That level of transparency made a huge difference during what turned into an eight-month ordeal. The firm’s experience in corporate law was evident throughout the case. I have been working with Zack Block for the past 18 months, navigating the many wins and challenges that go along with founding and running a nonprofit organization.
