I hired Ben Rosenthal through a recommendation, and I have to say that he has been a pleasure to work with and is extremely competent. I had a disability claim with a company that he was assisting me with, and he was very well versed on the Oregon State laws and was able to keep me focused on how the directive of the law is what will support a case. Going to court is often a viable option but you must weigh the pros and the cons. I had to dig deep to decide how to proceed but I was given credible guidance based on the facts and the laws (Federal and State) and in the end, the decision was mine (the client). It’s not up to an attorney to decide for us as to how to proceed. I made the correct decision with a fair settlement and will move on to better things. Ben is articulate, cites the laws and communicates effectively with opposing council. Ben also won’t take on a case just for the sake of charging you an hourly fee. He is not interested in taking advantage of someone if the risk/benefit for the client is not in their best interest.
