I reached out regarding an higher education ADA disability discrimination matter. Jay Jembeck said he has significant experience in this area and a strong track record, and the initial 45 minute call seemed promising. He specified the retainer amount, said I would receive an agreement to sign with a link to make payment, and to send all materials I have ASAP because it would take some time to review. After that, the communication stopped. Over the next two months, I followed up with multiple emails, messaged through the firm's website, and called at least three times asking for a callback or email from anyone to confirm whether he was taking the case so I could move forward. I received no reply. Knowing my case was time-sensitive, I should have made sure the firm was responsible, reliable, and in the very least will respond to basic inquiries within a reasonable timeframe so I can make informed decisions. This experience was absolutely awful.
