I recently thanked Attorney Ben Akech for his outstanding efforts in working out a realistic resolution with a debtor for me. I pray never to be in such a position again. However, I very much appreciated his professionalism, calming demeanor, and efforts, which were efficient and timely. I was truly stressed at first, but his efforts and communications put me at ease. I truly appreciated working with him; and, it didn't 'break the bank' as much as I thought it would. It was well worth it! I let him I appreciated him and would refer him to anyone I knew if asked.

Update: since the one star review was posted using Han's account (not sure why it doesn't show up anymore). Mr Akech threatened a defamation case. Mr Akech also shamed/mocked Han saying it is "ironic" our case was about a defamation/disparaging remarks about a business and he got a one star review from Han. First of all, the case was asking refund for a service not provided. It is not a defamation case. Han shared in confident why we are pursuing this case given the amount seems trivial: Han was vocal about how our children were mistreated and the inappropriate behaviors by some coaches. Our children and us endured a lot of emotional abuse by the business. It is unprofessional and disrespectful for Mr Akech to mock/shame us and draw a comparison between our painful experience and leaving a one-star review for him. This is Han C. I am using my husband's account to write the review because mine does not show up. In the end, it is the same because the case is ours. Han is the person who directly dealt with Mr Ben Akech. My insurance pays for the lawyer fee. One month ago (4 weeks ago), Mr Akech took the case and I sent him all the document. But ever since, there was no communication/progress on the case. Han emailed Mr Akech after two or three weeks having not heard anything. He ignored the email. After a week, Han emailed him again. Mr Akech set up an appointment to for a call at 3pm this Thursday. When Han called him, he said he would call her back in 5 minutes. he did NOT. Han sent him an email asking to emailing update. He ignored it. The next day, he said due to the turn around time expected, he does not want to work on the case. We are extremely unsatisfied. 4 weeks/One month have passed with no communication and no progress. A professional way to deal with the situation is either not to take the case or email saying he needs more time (XX days or XX weeks). He did not apologize. Instead he thinks the turn around time is unreasonable.

We had issues with our landlord and attorney Ben Akech helped us resolved it. I would highly recommend his services again and again.
