I contacted Barton Mendez Soto for a consultation on an unpaid wage claim and wrongful termination, and after waiting a week was provided a generic denial letter. I called to discuss some additional details that I had missed on the intake form regarding the case and was passed to James Barton who was extremely rude and gruff, and stated simply that it "was not a good case for them" before hanging up on me. I was stunned by the attitude I received and would not recommend anyone reach out to them!! Their behavior directly contradicts what their website states and I am absolutely shocked by the callousness I experienced. I will say, Jacqueline, who answered the phone for both of my calls was extremely helpful and kind. The only positive to this experience.
