Typically, I don’t take the time to write reviews. But, I felt compelled to share my experience with Attorney Kurt Carpenter. If you need legal counsel or an Real Estate Attorney for landlord/tenant issues, don’t hesitate to contact him. Although, I was originally referred elsewhere. I did my own research by contacting several other attorneys including Mr. Carpenter. From our initial conversation, through the end of the eviction process he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and communicative. I was dealing with a tenant who fraudulently used someone else’s information to lease my condo. To make matters worse, I had already gone through two different property management companies. The first one did a terrible job screening the tenant and was no help afterwards. The second company wasn’t helpful either, so I terminated my agreement with them and was left to handle things on my own. Mr. Carpenter, stepped in and handled the eviction efficiently and professionally from start to finish. Despite, the stress of the situation and the disappointment with the property managers, working with Mr. Carpenter gave me peace of mind. Also, the confidence to take control of managing my own property going forward. I’ve since tightened my screening process and feel more empowered as a landlord.
