Tamara is fantastic for small businesses! She is very available for answering questions in depth and taking care of any needs in a quick and thorough manner. She is also a great resource for connecting with other professionals related to my small business needs. I can highly recommend her for any small business or entertainment professional.

Be warned, extremely shady and questionable billing methods. Seems like once they have your money, they’ll just ignore you. She used to be good in the past but maybe it’s the lack of business and/or greed that she prioritizes money over great customer service. Would stay far away from this deceptive, manipulative and money hungry lawyer!

Tamara represents Steve Waldon and Robert Waldon at ZSW Inc. for their struggling baseball scorekeeping app business 805 Stats, who I'm suing for breach of contract and non-payment for consulting services I performed and delivered, and Tamara has either willfully ignored or failed to return my calls to engage in attempts to resolve the matter. In my opinion this behavior, or even potentially intentional strategy, to ignore me and this legal matter is the epitome of unprofessional. UPDATE: 10/27/2020 Tamara’s response below is inaccurate and false, in that of my original review posting, I was NOT represented by council at the time of her non-responsiveness and ignoring my calls 2yrs ago. At that time, I was specifically trying to deal directly without her to resolve the matter and not need to hire counsel. But due to her unwillingness to engage, even after talking to her assistant (who said she would speak with me) several times to schedule calls, I was FORCED to hire a lawyer. Then yes I did win my lawsuit AND miraculously collect payment, though having to pay my lawyer and lose that money on top of the aggravation she and her clients caused me.

Tamara is a terrific attorney. She is the attorney for both my business and our family and has given me really good advice when I have had legal questions.

I have known Tamara for almost 20 years, and at one time professionally worked with her. I held her in the highest regards. Tamara set up an Irrevocable Trust for our family 15-16 years ago. Prior to the trust expiring, we contacted her to set up an appointment to meet and go over our options. We received a random bill, prior to our appointment, for $600.00 with a description of "RESEARCH." At the time she represented herself as one of the leading expert in CA in Trust Law, even stating she taught Trust Law at a local law school. When we called for an explanation, we were informed that she had to research our options, as what to what legal actions needed to be taken prior to the trust expiring. It was at this point, that we informed her that her services were no longer needed! We contacted another attorney, who knew exactly what to do, and had the necessary paperwork completed on our behalf, and electronically submitted to the county in 3 days for $289.00. It took only 1 telephone call, and 2 emails, with no Federal or State tax consequences. Neither Tamara, or her staff will return our telephone calls, or emails, just continued random billing. We never signed a retainer agreement with her concerning this matter. Just a call to set up an appointment to meet with her, which never took place. Again I am so disappointed! It appears that Tamara has now expanded her field of practice from trust, to also business law, and apparently not kept up with her trust clients, as evident by the lack of knowledge and of communication. The office screens calls, and refuses to return repeated telephone messages, and emails. It required me sending an email directly to Tamara, explaining my position, whereas in I informed her if I did not hear from her within 30 days, I would consider the account zeroed out, and closed. Any discussion regarding removal of reviews was expressly conditioned on receipt of a zero-balance invoice and a written release. Those conditions were not accepted. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for legal services with this firm, not only to do your due diligence, but also compare the response of other attorneys, and fee schedules. It just appears to me that they have lost focus and really seems like they no longer care about the clients, once their fees are collected! Update: I originally canceled my State Bar complaint because I hoped for a professional resolution. However, the attorney is now demanding I remove this truthful review in exchange zeroing out the $600 balance, again, she refused to accept our conditions I am keeping this review up to maintain transparency for other potential clients. I believe the public has a right to know about these billing practices and the subsequent pressure to suppress my honest experience. Google’s Prohibited and Restricted Content Policy explicitly prohibits Offer Incentives: This includes "zeroing out" a bill or offering a refund in exchange for the removal or revision of a negative review. I have forwarded the attorney's email for Google's review. Lincoln once said "The lawyer has a superior opportunity of being a good man." or woman!
