I had the displeasure of speaking with Mr. Sanders, on November 16, 2020 in reference to a civil case. I was told that he was representing my ex husband and I simply wanted a few minutes of his time to discuss any updates that may have come about and to make sure that I was sent any new filings that he may have submitted because I was unrepresented at the time. He felt the need to bring another attorney in on the call with the sole intention on trying to intimidate me. He was extremely rude, and unprofessional. He raised his voice toward me, accused me of actions that were not at all based in truth or knowledge, would not let me speak to address all of the misinformation that he was stating, and his law partner even called me a name when I would not allow them to continue to speak to me in such a disrespectful way. His behavior is in no way what one would expect from a professional. When I spoke to Mr. Sanders I was unrepresented, now I have retained an attorney who informed me, after telling her about this troubling incident, that Mr. Sanders is not even representing my ex husband as his attorney. He used his newly earned law degree to intimidate a lay person as a favor to someone who he knows. I hope that Mr. Sanders seeks a mentor who can guide him and teach him how to present himself in a way that will be in the best interest of his client while maintaining his professionalism. I am a seasoned professional and public speaker and as such I know how to handle myself in a debate, when he realized he couldn’t out talk me, he and his "partner" became misogynistic and simply tried to bully me. It didn’t work, and he couldn’t handle it. Not the best characteristic of an attorney who does not even specialize in civil cases. Prayerfully he’ll do better, and be better.
