Rey Dorta is both a colleague of mine in the legal field and the lawyer who helped a family member of mine obtain an exceptional result after being the victim of an auto accident. The driver who hit my family member's car was a tourist in a rental car, and the rental company's auto policy had very low limits that came nowhere close to covering the medical bills or auto damage. The car was totaled, and the injuries required two surgeries and rehabilitation. Rey and his team recovered against both the rental car company's insurance and the UM policy, both for the full amount of the policy limits. Without Rey's advice on UM coverage, we would not have recovered enough to cover even a portion of the medical bills. Because of his advocacy, we were able to replace the vehicle, cover all medical and rehabilitation bills, and not worry about the money.
