I don't know what Michael is like when you pay for him but when he was my public defender it was all bad. He wouldn't show up when he said he would, he would ignore phone calls. He got upset with me when I said I didn't like my deal, got upset when I said I wanted to go to actual court. He lied to me about attorney-client privelage. He basically told me if I told him anything incriminating that he would essentially tell them. He doesn't care about you. You are a problem that was pushed onto his desk. He will try to get you to sign away your fast and speedy so that he can take his sweet time. He will try to get you take a bad deal, just so that it isn't a loss on his record and you are no longer an issue. At least, this is the lasting impression I got from him. Best of luck.

This was the gentleman who represented me 8 years back, he actually it was true to his word, and which I was grateful, the plea was that of the best possible outcome for being caught red-handed. But it was my cookie jar and he got me that money back.

The most unprofessional attorney I've ever had. I called him today and he blew up on me for asking for a case number. He said i made no sense to what i was asking. I payed him a lot of money back in 2017 when my diversion case happened. And today (2024) i asked for help with a simple case number and he blew up on me being very rude and had to hang up. There's a reason why he does juvenile court cases now. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
