The worst attorney on the face of this earth. Run away. It’s better to be your own attorney than hire this lady. The absolute worst! She made us pay 1000$ for a free consultation. Obviously we did not hire her after this. She also threatened to sue us if we wrote a negative review anywhere online. So I waited for a sometime to verify her claims before writing this here.

Sherin Thawer is an amazing Lawyer. First she took care of my husband in such a timely manner that we were both shocked. And then she gave me my status in less than 2 months!!!!. She is fast, reliable, and gets straight to the point, and above all she has CONNECTIONS, which as we all know will make every process so much faster. Thanks Sherin we have loved working with you and appreciate all the help and time you and your team have put into our case. If we had to do it all over again we would definitely choose YOU!

I had a horrible experience with Sherin recently. She was 45 minutes late for my appointment. This after I had called just an hour before my appointment time to confirm. On top of which, when she finally arrived, instead of being apologetic, she showed my "attitude". And please note that this was not even a free appointment - I was paying her for it. I was charged upfront as soon as I entered the office. During the consultation, instead of working only on my case and focusing on the conversation, she was busy reading and signing other documents not related to my case. Horrible experience - will never dare go back to see her for anything, nor will I recommend her to anyone.

I recently went to Sherin Thawer's law office to get more details and information to file for my mom's citizenship N-400 application. We needed to know what the qualification criteria was and if she was eligible. Sherin and her professional staff reviewed all the dates from my moms passport did the calculations and they were able to give me an accurate answer within one hour of my visit. I got precise list of things I need to have in order to file for my moms citizenship and timeline it will take. Sherin is real fighter in Court ! Impeccable preparation knowledge and can beat her opponent into a PULP. We hired Sherin just 48 hours before the a huge federal trial for my brother who was in jail. We made the mistake of hiring a local American lawyer we paid him all the money upfront and he didnt do anything. He didnt even visit my brother in jail or even talk to us after we paid him. Later on we found out he made a dirty deal. So through a very good friend in Dallas, we were referred to her and met and talked with her several times. This being a federal criminal case we were impressed she knew it. After interviewing lawyers from West coast to East coast, I found her to be the only one who was sincere and cared about the my brother. The rest were interested in the money or very negative on the case. Sherin WON the Trial hands down and won the admiration of the whole courtroom. I recently became a client and can say, Sherin Thawer has been honest and forthright. I have found her to be more than trustworthy. Immigration is a very complicated matter and she took my case when no one else would have given it two looks, her office handled my work authorization and has been very helpful after a month i already had a work permit and the office is fast to respond to any questions that i ask .

Sherin Thawer makes her staff do everything. She relies on them and does not even look at the paperwork. She wants the fee but does as little as she can. She is rude and does not answer only the questions she wants to answer. She does not care about her clients, all she wants is money. That is ok if she really does her part and not make her staff do it all for her, because they are only staff not lawyers. Do yourself a favor and do a search on the internet for her and you will see many rip off reports on her. It is better to go to a reliable lawyer who cares and actually handles your case and does not make their staff do all the work. In fact she did not even know I had left paperwork in her office for her and she kept having the staff email me to bring it in, we went over and over it and then a week later she found it on her desk, and guess what that was my fault! Also paid my fees to INS via Credit Card to her and she overcharged the fee and would not reimburse me! From now on check out all lawyers online and with the BBB!
