I am not pleased. I was given that he wanted my loved one’s best interest. Once he was paid, it seemed like everything was out the window.. Out of the 15-16 months that my loved one was incarcerated, he may have spoken to him twice on his own. That was like pulling teeth! He wasn’t produced twice on his court dates! That pushed things back…Judges had to get changed. The attorney wasn’t giving direct answers. One minute he’d say he should be seen in front of one judge. Then the next minute the other.. Very confusing. I had to acknowledge the attorney that my loved one was still in his original facility and he wasn’t even aware which one that was. Scheduled meetings were missed. After being sentenced, the family was told from the attorney when our loved one would be home, and then suddenly everything changed. Everything was ran CONCURRENT in the court room.. Suddenly out of the 460+ days that he’s been incarcerated, he only received 180 days credit.. The attorney didn’t say anything of that nature. He let us know as we all heard the Judge run the sentence CONCURRENT. When the family had questions for him, he gave that he didn’t want to answer anymore questions basically because our loved one was now sentenced and that there isn’t anything that he can do moving forward. I did not feel he fought hard enough what so ever.
