I cannot say enough about Darren Drake. He was a lifesaver for my 19 yr old son who had a wild college kid night and couldn’t find his way back from a party. He was charged with both public intoxication and trespassing. I spoke with and basically interviewed 6 different lawyers. Darren was the only one who seemed to be proactive with a plan so that my son might not have to use his one diversion. The others would have all simply gone into the court room and let him use is diversion, no work or investment in his case on their part all for about the same retainer. Darren is obviously well respected and has a super solid rapport with the DA. In addition to his willingness to step up and work with the DA in advance of my sons case, Darren treated him with such care and kindness and was almost mentoring in his interactions with my son! Darren shared with my son his desire to help people and make a difference and he really seems to walk that talk! He was so reassuring and on top of things! His assistant was also wonderful and like Darren, she was excellent in terms of communicating and explaining things to us since we have never had any experience with criminal court. I am so glad we went with Darren and I cannot recommend him more highly!

I'm going to keep this post short and simple!! I called other attorneys in the area to assist my son with a minor infraction that happened on campus but never signed a contact because it just didn't seem right. My anxiety was on an all time high...it was the holiday weekend in 2023( Thanksgiving) and I called Darren Drakes office and left a message not expecting a call back but Kellie called me back and I'm thankful she did!!
