Dealing with criminal charges against my sons was an incredibly difficult and stressful time as a mother, but the support we received made all the difference. He is dedicated, honest, and took the time to clearly explain every step. I also want to specifically recognize Makinzie, the legal receptionist/assistant. Very bad experience. Attorney didn’t show up for a first appearance. Son sat in jail as an innocent person for 35 days. Hired a different attorney and things were settled in 2 days. When you call you never get a call back, they can never speak to you. As well as you get the run around. Not sure how long this attorney has been practicing but I don’t recommend using them. Throw your money out the window- it will go to better use.

Amendment to my original review: Attorney Alexander Vilatte, reached out directly in hopes of providing a more positive experience, gain understanding why my original experience was unpleasent, inform me there had been staff changes to improve customer experince, and has since been provided another opportunity to stand by his representation. I appreciate Mr. Vilattes time and commitment in his goal to improve our client experience, stand by his representation and help in a particularly sensitive situation. I am hopefully to see consistant follow through and improvement, as I have have thus far. Im improving and amending my review from one star and will continue to factor in future experiences and update my reviews accordingly but so far have had an improved experience. Very poor communication and the secretary can be very rude or abrasive. Its been hard to get information without a tone like your unintelligent for not already knowing the facets of the system and what to expect. The lawyer also did not really follow through with tenacity and course of action originally expressed in consultation. They were very eager and helpful before taking my 2400$ deposit but not so responsive or helpful after.

During such a highly emotional and scary time in my life, from consultation, through every aspect of my case, I felt attorney Ruhl and his team had my back! They offered a solid defense, never straying or backing down from the outcome we discussed at consultation. They are thorough, provided exceptional legal guidance through comprehensive and strategic representation. In simpler terms, they know what they're doing, how to do it, and they do it well! They are a busy firm, but while working on my case, when I called the office with questions or concerns, attorney Ruhl or Villatte, sometimes both, took the time to talk to me. No matter what time or day, they were there for me. If they weren't in the office, Makinzie would get the information or answers I requested in a timely manner. Even during the 4th of July weekend! She was always on point! Which is a common characteristic among the firm..... client focused while pursuing the best outcome specific for each of us! Thank you, Ruhl Law! The staff there is amazing and very helpful! Attorney Ruhl handled my case and got the best possible results. Will be using again In the future if necessary!
