I first hired Brad when I faced a serious criminal charge that could have meant prison. He helped me secure a sentence of jail and probation instead. Good job, Brad. Years later, I hired him again when a probation officer tried to revoke my parole. This time, the experience was very different. He rushed the job, admitted to violations I had directed him to deny, and submitted a brief with factual errors that I only saw after the fact. I imagine that he probably was a good lawyer, but turned me away. Just like any lawyer, they'll only take the layup cases and not the ones that require any actual work. There is no point in recommending this person, since they told me that they are planning to retire. In other words: go somewhere else, because that is what they'll tell you anyway.
