Harriet Wiginton was the attorney at Anderson Legal who helped me through the name change legal process and she was incredible! It is so complicated to change your name in North Carolina. From start to finish though, it couldn’t not have been smoother. She clearly has her system finely tuned at this point. Granted, there are things you have to do as the person getting the name change, but she helped me every single step of the way. Their portal is very clear, instructions clear, she provided notary assistance, posting in the courthouse, did all the filing, etc. She’s also been so helpful answering my questions about what I’m supposed to do next to initiate changing in everything now that I have the certificates. Can’t recommend Harriet and Anderson Legal enough!
