Carl E. Cornwell Attorney At Law

We hired Carl Cornwell several months back . Anytime I had questions or concerns he would call me back asap and answer my questions . He will not sugar coat anything but always tells us the truth . He knew exactly what to do and kept us posted on our son's case . He is the best criminal defense attorney , yet is friendly and compassionate too . I never knew Carl til we hired him and this review is from the heart . If I know anyone that needs a great criminal defense attorney I will suggest Carl Cornwell and his associates because they are great !

I hired this attorney for my son, he did no favors for us at all! He lied about outcomes pertaining to the case, told my son to lie about certain events. At best it seemed he was out to do nothing for him & at worst like he thought my son should be further punished & sought to ensure just that. I wouldn’t recommend that Carl be anyone’s attorney, he shouldn’t even be an attorney, his license should be revoked!

Mr. Carl Cornwell there is so much I can say positive about my experience with him. Him and his staff are very helpful and positive, they keep you updated and also make you feel very comfortable. Mr. Cornwell himself made me feel very comfortable in court while I was a nervous wreck, he let me know what was going on at all times. I rate him 5 stars because not only did everything fall in my favor because of his hard work but because he was by my side helping me through this nerve wrecking experience. Carl Cornwell worked on my federal case days, evenings, weekends and then some. He knows the law backwards and forwards and he is a rock star in the courtroom. Carl was amazing with me and also with my family during this really rough period in our lives and he never stopped working or trying on my case. Carl's assistant Kellee Cornwell is amazing too, she was always on top of the paperwork and everything else to do with my case. She responded to me immediately any time I called or emailed. My sons engaged Attorney Carl E Cornwell II January, 2013. Mr Cornwell told 9 lies to me on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at our initial meeting at Wyandotte County KS Adult Detention Center. I terminated his services in Court on 2/12/2013 at the urging of retired presiding judge Ernest Johnson. Mr Cornwell entered a false entry of appearance through a licensed in state of Missouri surrogate with 16th Judicial Circuit Court at Indepedence MO on 3/13/2013 after I was extradited to Missouri. Mr Cornwell was warned by me that he had a choice to be blessed or cursed if he treated my sons and me fairly as my defense attorney. He freely choose cursing by the way he lied to me and two courts.

I had high hopes when we retained Carl as our attorney, but was later disappointed how he handled the case against my spouse by taking the easy way out instead of fighting for a trial. I am a woman of faith and know that had he pushed for a trial instead of encouraging a plea deal things would have been totally different. He talks a good talk until he is paid in full, then resorts to not living up to what he promised to do, which is fight until the end!

He is one of the best lawers at law. I pray he gets someone so dear and close to me in the green. Thank you, Mr Cornwell. My bae really love having you as his Lawer.
