Courtney was representing my son in a case that should have been a quick case with no DNA/evidence according to his discovery, instead she directed him to take a plea deal because she was going through her own legal issues and this was the quickest way out! My son is on the autism spectrum and he was scared so he did what his lawyer instructed him to do. He has missed out on a lot...His sister's 18th birthday & graduation, death's in the family, holidays, etc...This has changed all aspects of our lives, I am so disappointed in myself for choosing Courtney to represent my son. It's been a horrible 2 and a half years, I hope someday someone can fix this as it will continue to cause issues throughout his life.

I hired Courtney Peterson, in hopes that I could rely and trust her to help me through the process of my husband's case. I was looking more for an attorney that knew what they were doing, not a friend to discuss their personal life. From the start, it was very unprofessional, we ended up hiring a new attorney. I feel as though she could have been more helpful, and less misleading. I would never recommend Courtney as an attorney to anyone. If it was up to me, I would give her no stars.
