Wouldn't not recommend to anyone who has limited funds paid 2500 for literally a 1 hour phone call meeting where nothing got done didnt even attempt to show up to the court date just want more money when I was very up front I only had x amount and couldn't not do anymore they took my money made promises and then did nothing for me or my family. Honestly feel like I got robbed but what do you do when I said something about it I got told we have to keep the lights on cant work for free. I wasnt asking them to work for free but to actually do anything to help would of been nice hell even show up for the court appearance could of been by zoom would have been better than the nothing I got.

I should have hired Cordell and Cordell at the beginning of my divorce, but I did not want to look like I was hiring a gunslinger because I thought we were headed for an amicable divorce; boy, was I wrong! I hired Wayne Crowe, an attorney out of Grand Rapids, Who totally dropped the ball and never represented me in court. I received a Default Settlement in the mail because Wayne Crowe never did anything on my behalf. That’s when I hired Cordell and Cordell. My attorney, Jennifer Zeleznik, was able to get a Stay on the default settlement (something which is very rare) and I could not be happier of how aggressively, and professionally she represented me. She saved me thousands of dollars! Please, do not make the mistake I did; make Cordell and Cordell your first call, not your back up call.

Writing on behalf of our family, my husband was represented by Cordell. Our attorney Cody was extremely detail oriented and efficient. He explained every move he made and why, so that we better understood why we’re doing this instead of that, or why a certain tactic may not be well received or just a waste of time in general as the odds were not with us on certain requests. They’re extremely technologically advanced, and their web portal for adding documents and payment information was something we’d never thought was needed, but after using it there is no way we’d ever want to do it any other way. Instead of sending tons of emails with attachments, this just puts it all in one place. Brilliant. The office as a whole is extremely professional and helpful we were very impressed with the level of communication and immediate execution of things. Even as simple as returned phone call time! Expensive, yes. Worth it? 150%. We would have had so many more problems with the ex wife had Cordell not been able to help navigate and put at end to our being taken advantage of. Absolutely recommend 100 times over to any dads who are so tired of being taken advantage of and made to look the "bad guy" all the time. We know there’s many guys out there just like us, and they should know it’s worth the time and money to make sure they’re able to keep their good name as a good dad and put an end to the other party from trying to make it seem otherwise.
