My wife and I were involved in an automobile/pedestrian accident where we were struck from behind while walking our dog in broad daylight. I called Don the next day and he personally met me at the accident sight to review the incident and take detailed notes and photos. My wife was in intensive care and I was not sure what to do next having never experienced anything like this before. Don assured me that he and his team would take good care of us and to just focus on caring for my wife and myself. It was very comforting to know someone was now "in our corner". The "big" insurance company immediately made us a low ball offer which Don refused and insured us that what we were going through and continue to go through, was worth much more than what the insurance company thought. Many times during the months ahead we questioned if we were making the right decisions, but throughout, Don remained calm and confident that we were in fact going to get everything that we deserved from this life changing event. The insurance company continued for months playing games with more low offers, scheduling doctor visits and depositions before ultimately cancelling each and every one the day before or the day of the scheduled meeting. In the end, Don pressed on, called them out and pressed them for a decision before we took the case to court. The insurance company finally decided to do what was right and pay the case in full. While our lives will be forever changed and our physical and emotional scars will always remain, we are forever grateful to Don and his entire team for the experience, compassion, and willingness to do whatever was needed to resolve our case.
