Came to this firm after being contacted on a legal site that finds firms for representation initially told on the phone the cost would be a certain amount I waited 2 months for some family affairs to clear up and when contacted again I was told a different price a little higher than original I then made appointment to meet in person and gather information of everything as far as time and what was all needed on my part when I met I then was told a different amount then also even higher and could take care of everything I should of known but went ahead because I was needing to do something because of the situation I was in and I was as soon as I get all the paperwork is should take 2 weeks fast forward 2 months later finally I go in to complete everything and he is now giving me the forms and telling me how to file them down at the court house upon further conversation I’m told this option would pretty min null everything I was trying to do and was basically pointless and was told I was told this I was told that this would but he was going to do some looking j to and find out what should and could be done the best way and when I received my bill showed it had a balance so I asked about I didn’t know if he was working of the amount I so I send a email to his office asking about it a few days later I’m contacted by secretary she said she was going to have him contact he does he tells me he secretary told him I called down there demanding my deposit first of I shot anemia which I have copies of 2nd she called me telling me she was going to have him contact me 3 I didn’t receive anything not even the forms that I can’t use (until I told him to mail them to me) I thought when I paid for an attorney/services I’m suppose to receive something anything by taking my money shouldn’t you have a legal/ethical obligation to have their interest at heart since I am your client and if you say tou aren’t familiar with this type why would you contact me on a site after I explain my case online completely and say you can handle it tell me 2 weeks and waste 2 months of my time basically steal the money I put down and really the only time I was ever contacted with with any true effort it when I send a email just asking if there was a balance and if so how would I go about recouping it since I did pay for services and walked out with nothing honestly I should contact the legal board about the whole situation the whole time I didn’t feel that there was any urgency to my situation I sent all information and still when I went in for last meeting I was still being asked the same questions for the same information that I provided at least a month prior to

Divorce – A Disappointing and Costly Experience I came to this firm seeking help with my divorce, hoping for guidance, advocacy, and someone to truly stand in my corner. Instead, I left feeling deeply let down — emotionally, financially, and as a father. What began with promising conversations turned into a frustrating experience that cost me over $27,000 and left me without meaningful support. My attorney consistently failed to advocate for my parental rights, did not push for increased time with my children despite my pleas, and often seemed more aligned with the opposing counsel than with my concerns. Even when I brought forward legal evidence and clear precedence, I felt ignored and dismissed. My rights as a father were not defended, and my financial position was not protected. At nearly every step, I was told to compromise — not strategically, but passively — while my ex-spouse’s legal team pushed forward unchallenged. I cannot speak to their other services, but if you are a father going through a divorce, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. This firm will take your money, but in my experience, they will not fight for you.

The receptionist that answers the phone is very rude . Not polite at all , seems she doesn’t want her job.

I hired this law firm through my legal insurance, because of the experience of the firm. They sent me some lawyer ( not Edwards or Bowie) who literally had no idea what was going on. He was being directed by opposing counsel’s lawyer on every action, never responded to emails, or phone calls, and took actions without ever informing me. After months of begging for an email or callback, I finally requested no more actions be taken on my behalf without my knowledge, and they " terminated my agreement ". These guys are not the ones to trust when trying to go through the most difficult thing in your life. They never gave me full effort because the legal insurance lowers their hourly rate and cited "financial burden" as to why they wouldn’t complete the contractually obligated tasks. I guess phone calls and emails are SUPER expensive when you have to keep running to opposing counsel to ask what to do. Edit: My legal insurance reviewed the charges and found that this law firm overcharged me by over $2000. When confronted about it, they deflected, and basically ignored their unethical practices. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUILDING.
