Everything was explained and all questions were answered. All the aspects of the final document were clearly explained as well. Lindsay was very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

I highly recommend that you do NOT use Ettinger Law Firm. They cost my family tens of thousands of dollars by not completing our Family Trust. They assured us it was finished, however they never funded it by moving the deeds of our properties into the name of the trust. My parents paid $10,000 for that service along with others that they never received. Then on top of that, after my parents passed away, Ettinger’s attorney misplaced our original copy of the last will and testament. Again, they assured us that they never hold onto these documents but ended up calling us a couple months later to tell us they found them. It was too late. This was already after we began the probate process. We had to enter the courts as if there was no will or trust when my parents spent over $10,000 on these services. The taxes that we ended up owing after we sold our family home were very high because we had no trust. We should’ve been protected by the trust we paid for. This law firm is incompetent and it would be a huge mistake to use them for anything.

I forget how I discovered Ettinger but it turned out to be a great find. I remember looking at their website and watching some of the extemely informational videos. This was maybe two to three years ago that I started looking for a firm to do estate planning. I probably checked two or three other firms that practiced elder law (watch the videos) but went with Ettinger and had our first meeting with Attorney Lindsay Thomas almost exactly one year ago. I procrastinated for the year, continued my research with the book that Ettinger wrote and a few weeks ago, we went back to speak to Lindsay with our questions. She took the time to explain things in language that was understandable. Elder law estate planning is what Ettinger does! The paperwork was prepared and we returned this week for the signing, Lindsay went page by page and explained clearly what was going on. You'll see in the videos and read in the book that Michael Ettinger's firm wants you to take control of what is yours. And there was absolutely no 'lawyer pressure' to get this done and we didn't pay anything until we signed. I would highly recommend Ettinger to anyone tha wants to take control.
