Miss Kim Romen has been my counselor for 3 years. She has helped me tremendously with my family relationship issues. She has the experience and wisdom to realize that the story usually goes deeper than what she is being told in the moment. She is understanding but doesn’t just listen. She also gives practical, helpful tips that make sense. I recommend her as a therapist because I know her to be passionate about what she does, highly ethical, moral, and compassionate. She is easy to talk to and is nonjudgmental. She is sensitive, understanding, and aware. She has a heart for people and desire to help. She started the walk and talk therapy with me and it has been a lifesaver. Being out in nature helps me clarify some of my issues. I feel more relaxed to express myself while walking and she is an avid listener and helps me set boundaries and future goals for a healthy emotional life.

Kim is very fair. She looks at and tries to understand both sides. She will not tell you what she thinks you should do, she lets you arrive at your own decision. She’ll help you help explore options and she’ll offer examples but she doesn’t tell you want she thinks you should do. Using her gentle demeanor, she’ll guide you to make your own decision.
