Gattis Tammy

How do you rate a five-star team that went above and beyond any expectations? I had been completely blindsided by a summons to Arkansas, when I was living and caring for my father in Colorado. I called several law firms, but paralegal Josh Gonzales immediately recognized my panic, and understood the gravity of the situation. When he connected me with Tammy Gattis she was reassuring and calming, and despite her case load she agreed to help. She had never met me or my father, and literally had to gather information while we were driving to Arkansas. When we met Tammy and Josh at the hotel, they were classy, genuine, and positive. Josh even volunteered to take care of our puppy during the hearing! In the court room Tammy was brilliant, and her experience and wisdom spoke volumes. I do not believe a better outcome would have been possible, and I contribute that to Tammy and Josh. How do you rate someone that has helped you, and to whom you will always be grateful? It is infinite stars…

Edit: Only after I gave Tammy a one-star review did she FINALLY email me. NOT about my paperwork she's withholding, but of her review. 6 weeks and still no paperwork, yet I get ANOTHER bill (now 26,000$) with no paperwork. She's withholding it because (?) I've paid numerous retainers. Again, for a CHILD MODIFICATION. I could have paid a judge by now. Don't hire her if you ever want a call back, lots of unexplained bills, and a fit over a review. I stand by what I said, if I do get the papers, I'll let y'all know and add a star. Doubt it though. I will say her return comments to reviews are always "the clients fault" never hers.🙄

I am very pleased with the way Mrs. Gattis handled my case. She spent as much time as necessary with my daughter in order to really understand what needed to be accomplished in her life through the courtroom. She helped my intimidated daughter in gaining the confidence necessary to express her thoughts and feelings in the controlled setting of a courtroom. Because Mrs. Gattis showed such care, my daughter can begin to recover the parts of her life that were lost because of the issues of of the case. I could have found a cheaper attorney and of course a more expensive one but, I found one that cared for my daughter. You can’t buy that. Thank you Mrs. Gattis

called Ms. Tammy's law office to schedule a consultation. It has been a month, she never returned my calls. But the reason why I am giving her a bad review is because her staff was RUDE IN THE EXTREME. The first person to represent your business is the person who answers the phone. She interrupted me as I tried to explain my situation, she also raised her voice a few times. The woman refused to give me her name, she just hanged up the phone in my face. The only thing I could obviously point out was that she had a speech impediment.

Great attorney with a great team. Worked on our case(a very complicated case) night and day. She was very up front even with bad news and what was going on behind scenes. I felt she is trustworthy and very involved with our case the entire duration. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to be actually represented.

I will say Tammy is a good Attorney.When she wants to be. My case was almost 2 years long due to covid. I had to pay at least 22,000 as she added a new retainer...just to cancel. Twice. For personal reasons. Understandable, but I never got a detailed bill, and she WILL call ONE HOUR PRIOR TO COURT DEMANDING ANOTHER RETAINER OR SHE WILL "NOT APPEAR" Even if you're 3 retainers in. Its a scare tactic and a bully move. Its been 4 weeks since court, and I still have not gotten the paperwork that was "only going to be a few days" At first, Josh, the paralegal, is nice...while he's asking for the money...then no word for months. Final review? Yeah, she MAY win but be prepared to hear lots of "only another $6000" and "call back later" to never hear. IM calling the BBB. I'll add it was a modification of custody. Took advantage of covid and got rich doing it. Shameful. Didn't even attempt to make things right. "$12,000" at the MOST...yeah..

I've known Tammy for about six months now, and she is one of the most dedicated people that I know. She is a strong advocate for all of her clients and works tirelessly in their best interests. I would recommend her a thousand times over, she is truly exceptional at what she does.
