Pay attention to the reviews. He took my money and didn’t do anything. Gave me a hug when I went by his office and made me feel he was on my side. On the court date, he and his lazy paralegal turned against me. They are liars and they are very good at it. They took my money. Be cautious of this guy. Believe what you see in the reviews. If I could post less than 1 star, I would.

I want to recommend Godley law. William Godley has been my lawyer for years. He has been a blessing for me in legal things i needed took care of. I have recommended him to many that used him and they were pleased with the outcome of him representing them. You will never meet someone who will give his all and take time to listen to you and will be honest upfront of what you are looking at. He takes his time with you and goes over everything so when you go to court he has every thing ready to fight on your behalf. I wanted to wait to give my review until I have been with a different lawyer long enough to have proper comparison. Godleys staff is extremely unprofessional, and dishonest. They will rob you blind and do nothing you ask, yet still document and bill as if they had done so. They are lazy to say the least. They do not care what your personal goal is. The man literally told me at the stand to just confess to something I didnt do just to be "done with it" then had the audacity to congratulate me.. on losing tons of money and dignity, as he did not defend my case what so ever. He signed papers before even reaching the stand or asking me if I agreed to it or not. Becky will tell you one thing, and then another one of his staff members will tell you something completely different about your rights or paperwork. I could go on and on. Im glad that I went on to a new lawyer who is fixing everything Godleys law firm has made a complete mess of. If your future or life depends on it, don't place it in their hands. Lesson learned.
