Mr Wilson assured me he would be able to handle my citation and would speak with the DA on my behalf. He continued to string me along for over a month with promises that he would handle it *that day* and then call me. Not once did he ever call me, and every time I checked in with him, he had still not spoken with the DA. He continued this pattern for weeks and weeks. If he didn't want to take my case, he shouldn't have wasted both of our time. It was the behavior of an unscrupulous actor, and I cannot figure out what would motivate anyone to act that way. Fortunately I never paid him any money, which, in hindsight, was the biggest red flag. We had no contract and he was under no obligation to help me. I'm just baffled that he kept up the pretext for so long, and I have learned my lesson to avoid empty promises and the people who make them. If I could give zero stars, I would. He certainly did nothing at all to earn the one.

Jonathan provided great advice to me as I navigated the painful process of child support and custody. He made me feel like my case was important no matter my questions and worries. He always listened with compassion and grand words of wisdom. Jonathan was always around for a meeting or phone call and even when he had to meet with daughter to discuss things, made her feel very at ease and comfortable. Jonathan will not disappoint!

Jonathan did a GREAT job handling a speeding ticket for me. He was able to keep it off the record, which was the primary goal. His communication was professional and speedy, better than most attorneys I have worked with in the past. I would highly recommend him!

At I time where I was looking my first felony I was recommended by a friend to call Johnathan. I called him later at night he answered and agreed to meet me for my first court date in Durham. This was before Covid 19 slowed the courts down. He met with my wife and I and we reviewed everything and he was honest with what the possible outcomes were. He assured us he would work hard to help get us through a very stressful time in our lives. Multiple times he went above and beyond what an average lawyer would do to help me and my family. Once the pandemic hit it caused Durham cases to keep getting postponed and finally he was able to get my charges dismissed. At no point did I feel like I couldn’t get ahold of him, he answered text messages and answered phone calls. During trial for a additional misdemeanor he fought hard for me and took control of the court room when the cards were stacked against me to ultimately fight until I was proven not guilty. My family and o will always be appreciative of Mr. Wilson and I highly recommend you call him for any legal issues you may have.

To start off I want to say thank you to J. Wilson law firm. At a time where things were very uncertain for me he took control and assured me I would be okay. He was very responsive, respectful, and friendly. At no point did I feel like I was alone in this. When it came time for court he was there and was on my side. Along with getting my case dismissed, I took a parenting class recommended through the court that I will forever be grateful for. I will never forget this rough time in my life and I am extremely thankful to have had him by my side !

Johnathan did terrible on my case . Bad communication doesn’t keep you update as to what’s going on with your case . Doesn’t return calls . Just an overall bad experience. Wouldn’t recommend him to anyone .
