It is not often that I need to seek legal assistance, and I am thankful for that! However the situation did present itself recently and I called the James & Carter, PLC law firm for some advice. While I am not comfortable discussing my issue here, I did want to comment on the excellent response I received from them. Their Assistant Sydney was most helpful in gathering my information and relaying it to one of the Attorneys. She got back to me very quickly, providing me with exactly what I needed to proceed with my legal situation and the next steps I needed to take. I highly recommend this law firm as they truly were helpful when I needed it the most. And their Assistant was truly knowledgeable and most professional in being the go between for me. Paul and Dan took my case involving my son being shot by the Jonesboro Police dept. The officer shot through a closed and locked door 14 times it had a lot of publicity mostly bad the officer killed him. The Police dept. tried to label it as a have to shooting with my son provoking them. Well, it looked like a open and shut case but that wasn't the case. The twist and turns it took for about 3 years. Paul and Dan stayed right with me and my daughter assuring us they would do their best to get what was in our best interest. We ended up settling out of court due to the emotional distress it was putting on us all. Paul was on the phone with me several times a week as the case escalated to prepare me for testifying. They (Paul and Dan) are great attorney's with big hearts which one does not see often in these times we live in. I highly recommend them for anything they are hired to do. Chris Finley
