I highly recommend James Quigley as a family law attorney based on the experience I had with him as the lead attorney on my difficult and complicated divorce. James did an exceptional job of applying his team in the most effective and cost effective manner possible. He let his extremely competent team deal with the issues as they arose, but was always readily available and informed for the large issues and for the times that I really needed a strong advocate. James made a real effort to understand the issues that I was personally dealing with in addition to the nuts and bolts of the case. In early 2021 I switched family law practices since I felt my previous lawyer was not doing enough to protect my son and I. I met with about 3 other lawyers before making my decision to choose James and his team at Beerman. The other lawyers I had met with seemed like cheesy car sales men. They promised me so much and I was skeptical to say the least. When I met with James and his team. They were honest, straight forward and committed to do everything in their power to protect my son and I and get what we wanted which was full decision making for my son, more child support, and the ability to leave the country to visit my family in Mexico without having to ask permission to my ex which was barely in the picture. The past 3 years with James and his team has been a whirlwind but I’m beyond overjoyed I chose to switch practices. They supported me when I had a hunch that Henry’s (my son) appointed lawyer was NOT following the courts orders to have supervised visitation with his dad, who had previously threatened to take him out of state to Texas where he lived at the time without the courts permission. James reached out to his private investigator team to follow Henry on a supervised visitation and guess what? Just as I suspected - the guardian appointed was no where to be found. As a mother being in constant communication with this PI team on Sunday morning was reassuring that my son was safe and was being supervised. Just not by the court appointed guardian, but the PI that we hired by James and the team. In court, our motion was granted to change this irresponsible and wreckless GAL. I was so happy to say the least and we were appointed a great GAL, Steve Wasko. I felt he definitely had and still has my son’s best interest at hand and the past 1.5 years him and the Beerman group has done everything in their power to assist Henry’s well being is the #1 priority in this case. This October 2023 - we finally got a hearing with our Judge and were granted full decision making, increased child support, ability to take Henry out of the country without my exes permission. My ex has not seen his son in about 1.5 years now and the court also appointed him to get parenting classes before seeing his son again. I literally saw James and his team FIGHT for me that day. They were persistent about increasing child support, even when the judge pushed back. They provided evidence, came ready, willing, and able to make their case. To say I was beyond impressed is an understatement. Even if it took some time, I saw what James and his team had promised me from the beginning. They did every single thing they possibly could so the results of court ended in my favor. I felt a huge weight finally lift off of my shoulders and it was all thanks to James and his amazing team. I would recommend anyone going through this to choose James Quigley & Marcus Dominguez to be on your team and represent your family. Not only were their responses always quick, but they are the best of the best and that is the only thing anyone ever wants when it comes to their family and loved ones. My previous counsel got nowhere after 15 months, and my wife's counsel ran circles around them. I talked to James while interviewing alternative counsel and he was empathetic and put together a plan to resolve the case quickly. I fired my previous counsel and hired James' team at Beermann. In so far as anyone can make divorce an easy process, James and his entire team worked tirelessly on my behalf to ensure a fair and equitable settlement.
