From the start, I was given incorrect information, and basic details in my case—like the date of birth and Social Security number—were entered incorrectly. When I decided to withdraw my case, she refused to refund $2,000 from the initial down payment, even though no substantial service had been provided. I consulted with another lawyer, who advised me that since she didn’t deliver the promised service, I could have filed a complaint with the board.
