Law Office of Attorney Eugene Ellison

Firstly I had to call this office 7-8 times and leave a voicemail just to finally talk to someone. I informed the receptionist of a current situation that me and my family has going on and I informed her that we were wanting to consult with Mr. Ellison about what our possible legal options were (because his office was referred to us by someone else). After about 5-10min I get a call back from Mr. Ellison and to say the conversation was unhelpful and unprofessional is to say the least. He was very patronizing, demeaning and most of all un-empathetic. I left the conversation feeling as if all he was focused on was how much he would make in the end, and not on genuinely helping me and my family, as well as, descriminated against because of what he "perceived" to be me and my family financial/social class status. At the end of the call Mr. Ellison abruptly hung up in my face. I Would not recommend this law office if it was the only one in town.

Mr. Ellison is an outstanding attorney, he's very knowledgeable, a great communicator, kind and professional. I highly recommend his services to anyone needing excellent representation.

Mr. Ellison has been my attorney for many years and was able to council me on the legal process smoothly in the past. Having said that, I am highly disappointed in my last interaction with him. I paid him up front this time and even though he claimed we would take it to trial he waited til the last continuance and told me I need to take a plea. Because of his poor decision making I did not have enough time for an assessment, to take the classes or any of the other usual procedures. HE DID NOT EVEN ADVISE ME TO DO SO. I had to get the assessment on my own recognizance. He also claimed that paying big bucks for an alcohol monitor would help. IT DID NOT. He advised me I would most likely have to do a week in jail because, and I quote, "It's an election year" What the hell does that mean to me, single mother of 4, living 3.5 hours away from Buncombe County? Once again he was wrong and I had to do 2 weeks. Not happy whatsoever with his performance as an attorney.

Gene Ellison had been a friend of mine for 40 years. He had not only been my attorney but I know how many people he has helped in so many ways. He has the upmost integrity and common sense. He knows how to solve people's legal problems without going through unnecessary litigation. If you want an attorney who can tell you how to resolve your problems, he's the man.

He did a great job for me..He followed through with what he said he would do.Coimmunicated quickly by email. I was extremely worried ,but just for a few days. the problem was settled quickly and without a lot of expenses. Thanks so much !!

ZERO STARS!!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I walked out of "Attorney" Ellison's office and walked back in because a I needed to ask him another question. To my horror, I overheard him laughing and making fun of me and my case with his secretary. Unfortunately, I had already paid him, but never will I patronize him again! He is arrogant, unprofessional and rude! If you know what's best for you...DON'T PATRONIZE EUGENE ELLISON!!!

You need someone who knows the local courts and gets the job done? Call Eugene. This man knows what he's doing, holds your hand through the process and delivers results. I can not recommend him and his office enough.
