We had Jeffrey Cotton represent us with a lawsuit filed against me from a rather difficult landlord. He provided exceptional service, went above and beyond, and was just overall pleasant to work with. If you are in a similar situation at all I would highly recommend Mr. Cotton, I couldn't have asked for better representation.

WARNING ⚠️: Especially Woman of Color. I would not recommend this law office to anyone new at using an attorney for any reason. I was originally grateful that they took my case, but in fact they just took my money. I used them for a divorce and custody agreement with my ex-husband. Let's just say, I'm divorced, but had to hire another attorney for the finishing of my custody cases. Diane represented me allegedly. We went to mediation where she just sat there and smiled while I the client discovered the negotiation without counsel. She sat there giving little to no advice. This has hurt me financially as a single mother. I got no child support alimony, any of my ex-husband's 401 K, and now no retainer return after being divorced since September of 2022. Save your money. Hire someone who at least will talk and not tell you to go to mediation so she can sit and do nothing. I will upload picture of my name and hers so she can't say I'm not her client like they did the last woman of color.

Diane and her associate Jeff have been amazing attorneys for my family. They have handled both me and my wife's divorces, including one case where Jeff flew from Tyler to El paso to handle a family law matter for me. I have always gotten exactly what I expected from this office. She is completely upfront with what she can do and cannot do, therefore there is no confusion in me expecting one thing and getting another. We always agree on intended outcomes up front, and she always delivered exactly what she said she was going to deliver. She has also been great to work with financially. We agreed on a down payment and a payment plan, which I stuck to. She will always handle my family law matters in the future. Diane has given me exactly what I wanted on 6 completely different cases, 2 divorces, 3 child custody cases, and one small real estate issue. Diane may not be the cheapest attorney in town, but you get what you pay for, and she's well worth the money spent. Diane has no issue going up against the big boys, and producing results that remind me why I hired her. One thing about Jeff that me and my wife both liked was the fact that he is a very large man. When my wife was worried about her ex, another large man, we had concerns about him trying to intimidate one of us, (both of us are very short), but with having a 6'6" (just a guess here) Jeff around, we no longer had those concerns. 5 start for sure!
